Before carrying out the update I created a restore point and this time after the update I found Adobe Flash worked okay and has been okay since.
I know you reinstalled McAfee without the Vulnerability scanner activated, but I just wanted to let you know that after last weeks McAfee update the Adobe Flash problem I was experiencing seems to have either been fixed or it is just a coincidence. Checking on the Intel Security site and Microsoft, I cannot find any mention of a fix being provided, so I will just see how things go, and put it down to that it must be an update from either of the companies that has cured the problem.
I never received any kind of response from McAfee or anyone else either. If I recall the problem correctly, it didn't affect the default user, but it broke the 2 other existing user accounts, and it also broke any new user accounts created after the bad update was applied.
