You can see the full patch notes below. Blizzard's Diablo II isn't the only classic game the company continues to update. The studio today announced that it is planning to launch a new update this coming week for 's Warcraft III.
It's introduced features like matchmaking [and] the ability to communicate with your friends at a level that is unparalleled to anything we have done with Warcraft III in the market before.
And on top of that, we're proud to announce that on March 15, the next patch for Warcraft III will be available in the market, simultaneously with the rest of the globe. At this point, Blizzard isn't saying what's included in the patch. Back2Warcraft suggests in this follow-up video that the patch may include balance tweaks, but this is not confirmed.
Bridenbecker also teased in the video that Warcraft III's upcoming patch won't be the last, as Blizzard is planning more updates of unspecified nature for the future. Diablo II's patch--its first in almost five years--introduced changes to help the game run better on modern computers.
It's possible Warcraft III's will do the same. These updates for old Blizzard games comes after the company formed Classic Games division last year. Human matchup and item balance, and working with you, we made additional changes to the Orc vs. Night Elf matchup. Good balance patch I think. Hopefully custom campaigns and ladder are coming soon. Think the current way where every players are forced to registering through discord is better.
Ensures higher skill levels - and people care more about bad behaviour. Mostly great changes that will hopefully push the game in the right direction.
Concerning the Knight buff, I would have liked the Tauren Pulverize approach. Give the unit a reduced version of the spell on default rather than providing the entire upgrade for free. You will also notice features not present in RoC are reintroduced in TFT such as sea units and a battle. The Alliance campaign follows the leader of the blood elves, Prince Kael'thas, and his group of high elves that have survived the invasion of Quel'Thalas by the Scourge.
They had offered to help the Alliance but they were eventually imprisoned by Lord Garithos, a Human knight. Eventually, you and your elves will be saved by Lady Vashj and the Naga.
As you progress, you will need to prepare to fend off Maiev and gain the allegiance of the native Dranei. The Scourge Campaign, on the other hand, takes place in the blighted lands of Lordaeron also known as the Plaguelands. The campaign switches between the journey of Arthas to Northrend. Your goal will be to take control of the Plaguelands. By taking control of the Lordaeron, you will ascend to the Frozen Throne and become one with the Lich King.
A bonus campaign called The Founding of Durotar is also available for you to play. It separates itself from the other campaigns as it follows the Beastmaster, Rexxar, as he is defending the orcs. You must create a new home for them in Durotar to keep them safe from their enemies. Access to other regions will still be possible as all the maps are interconnected. In various locations, you will find the orc fortress city of Orgrimmar and the human city in Theramore Isles. You can also play The Frozen Throne on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 as long as your computer meets the following specifications:.
Both the requirements for hard disk space and RAM do not exceed one gigabyte yet the game is packed with features and storylines you can follow if you enjoy both fantasy and action.
