General Education Requirements. Students who do not have a previous degree in another field must complete the following to obtain the BS in Nursing. During the first semester of admittance, students must take the WPA. A passing score means no further writing courses. The general catalog outlines the required courses needed based on the WPA score.

Units taken at both campuses may be combined to establish financial aid eligibility. You are responsible for ordering your SDSU transcript to be sent to your home campus. Make sure you are eligible. Choose a course. Students who attend campuses on a quarter schedule should review the table below. Obtain approval from your home campus and the course instructor. Complete the student portion of the Application for Cross Enrollment online.

Be sure to review the Policies and Procedures for Cross Enrollment on the second page. After completing all required information, click the blue "Click to Sign" button at the bottom of the page. You will be prompted to enter the name and email of the appropriate approver at your home campus, as well as the name and email of the course instructor.

Once you have entered the requested information, click the blue "Click to Sign" button at the bottom of the page. Contact your home campus for approver information before starting this process.

If you are unable to find an instructor's contact information, contact the academic department offering the course for assistance.

Evidence of completion of course prerequisites may be required by the course instructor.
